We are so proud of M2's own Catherine Andrews and her mare Dagostella (Dagostini/St. Moritz) who represented Canada this week in the Young Riders division at the Florida International Youth Dressage Championships. This was the first CDI for the young pair, and their first appearance in the big ring at the Global Dressage Festival grounds. We're sure it won't be their last!
What's the best way to beat the winter blues? By getting ready for show season! Join us at M2 North on Saturday, February 22 for a schooling show / ride a test clinic. Ride the test of your choice, then receive individual instruction from the judge. Cost $75 Stall $50 Hot lunch included! Call or email to register. Say wow! M2 South student Sheri Doornekamp got the Florida competition season off to a spectacular start with her grey gelding Axel. Congratulations Sheri and Axel - we are all so proud of you! Our M2 South horses have all made the trip safely from Canada to Florida and are enjoying the fresh green grass and Florida sunshine here in Wellington. We're so thankful for this wonderful opportunity, and grateful for our M2 North clients, staff and family who will be keeping things running smoothly at home this winter.
We look forward to an exiting season of training, learning and competing - both at the White Fences show series and at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival - surrounded by so many of North America's top riders and trainers. Our annual Christmas party is in the books and we'd like to thank all our clients and friends for a fun-filled day and an amazing year.

We can't wait to watch ths new partnership grow and succeed! "Thank you so much to Esther Mortimer, who went to look at so many ponies with me and, more importantly, is the one who taught me how to ride dressage, connected me with my sweet Valor, and helped me finally feel ready for a new partner after Valor. I can't wait to see what the future brings with this beautiful horse!" - Helena Kvarnstrom Our next schooling show / test ride clinic is Saturday, November 30. Ride the test of your choice in front of the judge, followed by a short private lesson to work on elements of your test. A delicious lunch and refreshments are included - please contact us ASAP to register as space is limited. Ship in participants are welcome, space permitting, as are spectators. What a spectacular night at the Royal Winter Fair Dressage Derby as M2 sales horse Linosso was in the spotlight. PanAm gold medallist Lindsay Kellock had the winning derby ride aboard our boy and we couldn't be prouder. Linosso handled the busy environment, large grounds and busy stables like the true champion he is and we were honoured to take part. Congratulations to M2 riders Kaylea Smith (riding Westeros at Fourth Level) and Catherine Andrews (riding Dagostella at the FEI Young Riders level). These two talented young women were selected by Equestrian Canada to be demonstration riders at its 2019 Dressage Levy Performance Advantage Symposium with four-time Olympic medallist Robert Dover. We are so proud of how well our riders and horses performed, and how supportive all the M2 friends and family members were who came out to watch. Thank you to Equestrian Canada and Robert for this amazing learning opportunity. Read more about the symposium here. Esther Mortimer was thrilled to be invited to participate in the inaugural Dressage Derby at the Royal Winter Fair. This exciting competition sees four riders competing head to head at PSG on unfamiliar horses. Check out Esther's wonderful ride on Ribot, owned by Carla Bahr. |
